Horses and Pigs

Liam's rocking horse is his new obsession. He spends a good part of the day getting on, off and rocking on the horse. Its been an enjoyment watching him have so much fun with the horse Grandpa made him. Especially since this weekend he figured out how to climb on and off by himself.

Now onto PIGS or rather the swine flu. The message that all pregnant woman need to get a H1N1 flu shot is being heard loud and clear. Everyday, I hear a new story or expert with some tragic story. The problem is the message is creating paranoia, since its almost impossible to get a shot.
I am trying to remain calm and keep everything in perspective. The information that one child and two adults have come down with it at Liam's daycare isn't helping.
Hears hoping that this to will pass.

Liam is so big and cute!!!
We just got through winter here and the swine flu was a big issue, but a lack of vaccines was also a problem. I have 3 friends that were pregnant, none of them got the vaccine and they were all fine. One of them even had it at her daughters daycare too! You'll be alright, you are strong and healthy.

Cute rocking horse!

Hang in there and keep positive and you will be fine :)

Don't worry too much. The media is just fixated on the swine flu. People die every day from the regular flu (real encouraging right?) but since the news doesn't make a big deal about it, nobody notices.
Bottom line, wash your hands, get the shot, try not to get an disease that compromises your immune system and you'll do just fine.

Liam is so cute and funny! Love the Horse, how fun! The flu stuff is scary because it seems to be in the spotlight, but all you can do is protect you and your family the best you can by washing hands, etc. If your having a hard time finding a place to get the flu shot try clinics and just call back every few days to see if they have the vaccine yet. It should be free for the shot. I have to do all of us one at a time as they open up the age limits. Aidan is finally getting in today, and I hope to get Corbin and me in by next week. We've already had a few scares too in our neighborhood and Corbin's school. It's tough but so far we're clear....I pray it that way for all of us...good luck!
